WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- The White House has nominated Dale Klein, a University of Texas official, to serve as the Secretary of Defense's point man on programs to defend against nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. Klein, scheduled to testify Thursday before a Senate confirmation hearing, has studied nuclear weapon dismantling and waste disposal.
