Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe A topless photo of a Missouri mom appearing to pose with her shirtless 14-year-old daughter circulated through two local high schools via social media app Snapchat and has resulted in the mother being charged with misdemeanor child endangerment. The Wentzville mother’s face and name have not been released in order to protect her teenage daughter. Advertisement “The issue here is the fact the daughter was 14 and the mother was clearly present and involved when the photo was taken,” said St. Charles County Prosecutor Tim Lohmar. In the photo, the family members appear to pose in an outdoor hot tub. “It certainly appeared that the picture was posed and it certainly had some sexual overtones,” Lohmar said. The mother is denying that the photo, which was taken by her other teen daughter, was intentional. “I was aware the photo was taken, and I told her at that second, please delete that photo,” the mom said. “I wasn’t posing I was getting out of the tub.” She is now facing up to a year in jail. “This was a mother who made a very poor choice, I don’t think she had any intention that this would blow up the way it did, but it did and she only has her poor judgment to blame for that,” Lohmar said.
