Michigan woman with 'in it to win it' attitude wins $100,000 from lottery

May 25 (UPI) -- An unidentified woman from Oakland County Michigan, who says she has a in it to win it attitude, has won $100,000 playing the lottery's Extreme Green instant game online.

The 62-year-old told lottery officials that she always forgets to purchase game tickets at the store, so she started buying tickets online.

"When the $100,000 amount popped up while I was playing, I didn't think it was real. It wasn't until I saw the prize amount in my account balance that I believed I had actually won. It was shocking!" she said.

"I've always told my family that when it comes to playing the lottery, 'I am in it to win it. I can't believe it finally happened!" she continued.

The woman said she will use her winnings to invest and help her family.

Recently, an unidentified man from Michigan was unaware of his $242,256 jackpot lottery win until he came across some forgotten tickets in his wallet.
