Sept. 21 (UPI) -- A pair of Australian men came to the rescue of a confused kangaroo that was having trouble finding its way out of a lake in the country's capital.

Witnesses said the kangaroo was spotted shivering in the cold waters of Canberra's Lake Burley Griffin early Tuesday morning.

Bystander David Boyd captured video as two other men waded out into the water to guide the apparently confused marsupial back to shore.

Boyd posted video of the rescue to Facebook.

"Only in Canberra," he wrote in the post.
