March 5 (UPI) -- A Michigan woman said a "gut feeling" inspired her to mix up her usual lottery routine, and she ended up winning a $1 million Mega Millions jackpot.

Rnysha Woods, 26, of New Haven, told Michigan Lottery officials she plays Mega Millions regularly, but usually buys only one ticket for the drawing. She said she ended up buying several tickets for the Jan. 15 drawing at the Sunoco gas station in New Haven.

"I play Mega Millions often, but had an unusual 'gut feeling' telling me to buy tickets for the next drawing," Woods said. "I purchased several tickets and checked them right after the drawing. When I saw I'd matched five numbers I couldn't believe it. I just started yelling: 'We're rich!'"

Woods matched the five white balls drawn, 03-11-12-38-43, earning the $1 million prize.

"Winning a prize like this feels amazing. I still can't believe it," Woods said.

She said the money will allow her to take care of her family.
