Florida woman wins big lottery jackpots twice in two years

Nov. 15 (UPI) -- A Florida woman collected a $500,000 prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket just two years after winning a $1 million jackpot.

The Florida Lottery said Melodee Mysel, 63, of Miami, visited lottery headquarters in Tallahassee to claim a $500,000 top prize from a $5 Extra Play scratch-off ticket.

Officials said she bought the winning ticket at the Lamri Citgo station in Miami.

Mysel previously visited lottery headquarters two years ago when she scored a $1 million jackpot from a $10,000,000 Fortune scratch-off ticket.
