Seems like *everyone* wants to get aboard the @Capitals train this morning! (Crystal City Station, 8:30 a.m. today -- this little guy somehow wandered into the tunnel & ended up at the station. Safely exited through the tunnel back toward DCA.) #OHDEER #ALLCAPS #WMATA #StanleyCup pic.twitter.com/3ibeGuYwUe

June 12 (UPI) -- A deer made an unexpected appearance at a D.C.-area Metro train station on Tuesday morning and was seen jumping onto the tracks.
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority tweeted a video Tuesday showing the deer's mad dash through the Metro station in the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, Va.
The tweet joked the deer was apparently trying to get to the Washington Capitals' Stanley Cup victory parade.
The Metro said the deer ran into the station through a tunnel about 8:30 a.m. and left safely through a tunnel a few moments later.
