Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe May 29 (UPI) -- A team of tinkerers seeking to soup up a Barbie car for kids replaced the vehicle's engine to get it up to 72 mph. Edwin Olding and his team from the Grind Hard Plumbing Co. channel on YouTube posted a video showing how they modified the Barbie Power Wheels Mustang to drive at more adult speeds. Advertisement The men replaced the innards of the Barbie car with components of an old go kart and the engine from a Honda dirt bike. The team said the car can now reach speeds of 72 mph.
