Baby giraffe jumps fence to visit with tourists

May 9 (UPI) -- A visitor to a wildlife sanctuary in Nairobi captured the moment a young giraffe jumped over a rope fence to visit with tourists.

The video, recorded this month at the David Sheldrick Elephant & Rhino Orphanage, shows a group of tourists watching a baby giraffe from across a rope fence.

The animal decides to jump the fence and ends up running playfully through the crowd of tourists before being led away by a handler.

"Came here just to watch the orphan elephants and this little friend stole the show!" the filmer wrote.
