The candidate would be called on to "implement and evaluate" the GoatWorks program, which was first tested out by the city last year and involved a herd of 170 goats being used to clear weeds from Rundle Park.
The person filling the position, which features hourly pay of up to $43 an hour and could stretch out up to 11 months, would also be required to "coordinate public Meet and Bleat events; while assisting in the development of new and additional engagement opportunities."
The city said an ideal candidate would have a degree in horticulture, forestry, parks, recreation, environment or a related field. Candidates should also have experience with similar horticultural programs and "experience with vegetation management and basic knowledge about plant health needs."
