Disney guests disturbed by unexpectedly headless singing Ursula

Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Guests at Disney's California Adventure reported getting an unexpected scare when Ursula the sea witch's head fell off -- and she kept singing.

Photos and videos captured at the park on Sunday and posted to social media show the villain from The Little Mermaid singing with her head dangling over her torso on the Ariel's Undersea Adventure ride.

"It's so scary," one rider can be heard saying in a video.

It is unclear how long the ride was operating before Ursula was repaired.

The animatronic statue was actually the second to lose its head during the weekend at a Disney park -- the auctioneer at Disneyland Paris' version of the popular Pirates of the Caribbean ride was caught on camera with its head similarly dangling.
