Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Former NHL star Jeremy Roenick showed off his versatility by using a pair of golf clubs to capture a rattlesnake in his Arizona garage.

Roenick, a former player for the Arizona Coyotes, posted a video to Twitter showing how he handled a rattlesnake invading the garage of his home in the Scottsdale area.

"Relaxing Sunday morning! What happens when you live in Arizona," Roenick tweeted.

The video shows Roenick use the golf clubs to pin the snake to the ground before grabbing it just under the head.

"That's how you catch a rattler," he says in the video.

The athlete then takes the snake outside and throws it through the air away from his home.

"Didn't kill it," he says. "Kept it alive."
