Deer strolls up to young hunters in Ohio woods

Nov. 14 (UPI) -- A fearless deer strolled up to a pair of young hunters in Ohio while they were seeking squirrels with their father.

Gary Simons recorded video Saturday morning when the young buck strolled straight up to his sons, ages 11 and 9, while they were out hunting squirrels.

The video shows the deer sniff at the boys, unconcerned about their rifles, before licking Simons' pant leg.

The boys' mother, Brittany Simons, said they tried scaring the deer off with a gunshot, but it was undeterred. She said the animal licked the phone before wandering away.
