Elk battle over pumpkins outside Colorado hotel

Oct. 30 (UPI) -- A Colorado resident captured video of two bull elk fighting over some pumpkins placed outside a local hotel for Halloween.

The video, filmed Wednesday, shows the two elk facing off outside a hotel in Estes Park, where some pumpkins had been set up with a hay bale for Halloween.

"They had already destroyed the display and were trying to get at and eat the pumpkins," the filmer wrote.

"The funniest moment came when one of their huge antlers dislodged one of the pumpkins that proceeded to roll down the little hill watching it as it went. They then proceeded to go back to battling it out," they wrote.
