Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Police in North Carolina said a housekeeping worker cleaning up a hotel room called officers to remove an uninvited guest -- a boa constrictor in the bed. The Asheville Police Department said the worker at the Rodeway Inn and Suites in Asheville was cleaning up a room on Monday and called police when they found the 5-foot boa slithering around inside the sheets. Advertisement The snake was taken to the Buncombe County Animal Shelter, where it was later reunited with its owner. The owner said they had brought the serpent, named Chuck, along to visit a friend at the hotel and had misplaced the pet.
