Aug. 9 (UPI) -- A man rescued a baby bunny from his backyard pool and comforted the small creature in a rescue caught on camera.

Pat Tobin posted a video to Twitter showing a man he identified as his father using a net to fish the baby rabbit out of the pool after he saw it struggling to swim.

The video shows Tobin's father gently petting the kit after the rescue.

"You'll be just fine, alright?" he says.

"My dad rescued a baby bunny from the pool and is comforting it," Tobin tweeted.

He said in a follow-up tweet that the baby bunny "is good" and "hopped off into the sunset."
