Slap-fighting marmots make for adorable road hazard

July 26 (UPI) -- A traveler on a Chinese road stopped to film video of an unusual hazard -- two marmots on their hind legs having a slap fight in the middle of the street.

The video, recorded this month in Haixi Mongol, shows the two marmots slapping and shoving one another in the middle of a road.

The marmots' road rage goes on for nearly a minute before they both flee from the nearby sound of a car door closing.
