June 27 (UPI) -- An alligator handler in Florida attached a GoPro to his head to capture footage of what an alligator bite looks like from inside the gator's mouth.

Michael Womer, also known as "the Gator Crusader," shared video of the stunt to let curious minds understand what an alligator bite is like.

"Alligators have one of the strongest bite forces of any animal on the Planet!" The video description states. "Watch as [Wormer] straps a camera to his head and allows a man-eating Dinosaur to willingly chomp at his face."

Wormer stood in front of a pool of gators while wearing a GoPro harness on his head before bending down to capture video of the bite.

"Keep in mind when you see the gator biting the camera, it is attached to this, it is an inch from my head," Wormer said.

He approached one gator and encouraged it to "smile" before sticking his head into the its gaping mouth.

The gator clamped down onto Wormer's head-mounted camera as the lens revealed rows of sharp teeth inside the fleshy, white mouth.

Wormer, who was not injured during the stunt, ended the video by pretending his face was covered in blood before revealing it was actually pizza sauce.
