June 9 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania woman recorded video while she and her husband dealt with a squirrel that broke into their home and "scared the bejesus" out of her.

Allison Tomkinson posted a video to Facebook on May 28 showing what happened when a squirrel broke through a window screen and entered her family's Glen Mills home -- only one day after they fixed the screen due to a hole from a previous squirrel break-in.

The video shows Tomkinson's husband, Ryan, chasing after the rodent with the family dogs, but the small animal proves too nimble for them to grab.

The squirrel makes a run at Tomkinson, causing her to scream, before fleeing out the open patio door.

Tomkinson said the squirrel "scared the bejesus" out of her.

"This squirrel broke into our house by chewing through a screen a few weeks ago. ... My husband thought the best idea was to sic the dogs on this tree rat but ultimately he didn't go down without a fight....or without scaring the LIVING DAYLIGHT outta me!!!!" she wrote in posting the video to YouTube on May 30.
