Austin Fire Department shared photos Monday of firefighters removing the front passenger's side tire of the car to extract the tiny, black kitten. The driver experienced this exact situation last Wednesday and drove to a fire station to have crews check inside the car. "Lo and behold, the crew removes the tire and one grommet that holds the fender splash shield and finds this little cutie...a little scared, but safe and sound otherwise," Austin Fire Department said. The fire department encouraged other drivers to check out any strange noises coming from their vehicles, as kittens are drawn to the warmth of cars.
