A cow was seen wandering along the northbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike on Tuesday morning. The cow briefly evaded capture and as many as five cows were later seen in the area.

Several police officers responded to the scene to guide the bovine, who was walking with a limp, off the busy road, CBS Miami reported.
The cow briefly evaded capture before wandering into a nearby wooded area, only to emerge later to be secured by handlers.
As many as five more cows were seen in the area after the first cow was cleared, according to WSVN.
Traffic was slowed as a result of the incident, but was eventually cleared.
