SYDNEY, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- An Australian snake catcher shared video of his encounter with a "monster" brown snake discovered at a construction site.

Shire Snake Catchers SSC 24/7 posted a video to Facebook showing serpent catcher Andrew Morley hunting for the venomous serpent spotted at a Sydney construction site Nov. 24.

The video shows Morley catch the "monster" snake, which he said measured more than 6 feet long and was the longest brown snake he has ever seen.

Morley received applause and cheers from onlookers when he managed to ensnare the slippery serpent.
