Passenger films as lightning strikes front of moving car

WINDSOR, Ontario, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- A passenger in a car traveling on an Ontario road captured the moment the vehicle's front-end was struck by lightning while in motion.

The video, posted to YouTube by user KC's random stuff, shows a passenger in the car filming the thunderstorm going on outside through the vehicle's windshield in Windsor.

A bolt of lightning strikes the front of the car, causing the occupants of the vehicle to cry out in shock before laughing at their close call.

"A friend and I were recording a thunderstorm," the driver wrote in the video's description. "This storm had already produced 2 tornadoes. Unexpectedly we were suddenly struck by lightning in the vehicle I was driving."
