Small but fearless dogs convince bear to stay out of their California yard

BRADBURY, Calif., Oct. 19 (UPI) -- A California woman shared video of her tiny dogs successfully convincing a large bear to keep out of their yard.

Christine Downs posted a video to Facebook showing her dogs, Bentley and Tucker, furiously yapping and jumping in place while facing down the bear, which looks down at them from over a fence at their Bradbury home in late September.

Downs said her dogs were "trying really hard to scare that bear. (It's not working)."

Despite the bear's apparent lack of fear, it seems to decide that encroaching on the small canines' territory would be more trouble than it's worth and it casually turns around and walks away.
