BRIGHTON, England, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- A 2-month-old U.K. baby is turning heads due to his unusually full head of hair.

Junior Cox-Noon's mother Chelsea said her son was born with an abundant head of hair which has made him quite popular around Brighton.

"He came out with loads of hair. I didn't realize how much until he had his first bath," she told RT. "All the midwives and health visitors said it would fall out because baby hair usually comes out when they rub their head on the back of the cot, but he hasn't lost any of it and it has grown."

Noon, a former hairdresser, has decided to style her son's hair rather than cutting it, as she told The Mirror it grows out and not down.

"I definitely don't want to cut it, I want to see how long it actually does grow out. I don't know where his hair has come from it's like a big ball of candy floss," she said.

She added that her son's stunning mane has earned him the nickname "Baby Bear" and can often turn a routine trip to the supermarket into a spectacle as people constantly approach the baby and his unique hairdo.

"Usually it takes me about 40 minutes to do my weekly shop in Asda and now it takes me two hours," Noon said. "Everyone stops and says: 'Oh my god look at the baby's hair,' and then the next person will say: 'He's got so much hair.'"

Junior's older brothers Mitchell, 4, and Preston, 6, don't share his unique hairstyle but still find the stylish child fascinating.

"His brothers really love him, my youngest is always running up to Junior saying 'I want to pinch his fat cheeks,'" Noon said.
