Connecticut EMS crew rescues squirrel from yogurt cup

ENFIELD, Conn., Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Emergency medical responders in Connecticut were filmed giving aid to an unusual patient -- a panicking squirrel with yogurt cup stuck on its head.

A video posted to Facebook by Enfield EMS shows the paramedics and other team members trying to catch the squirrel with a blanket.

The squirrel, panicked by its blindness, attempts to leap its way to freedom, but falls flat each time due to the cup stuck on its head.

The animal's erratic movements elicit laughter from the emergency responders before they are finally able to catch the "strong as hell" squirrel in the blanket and pull the cup from its head.

The squirrel, apparently uninjured, then flees the "wildlife response team" without so much as a "thank you."
