BECKFORD, England, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- A second seagull in the United Kingdom found itself with orange feathers after accidentally falling into a vat of curry.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said the seagull was rescued from the vat of sauce which left its body covered 'half-and-half' in Tandoori curry.

"We get many calls about injured gulls – especially at this time of year – but this one that was a bit more unusual than the norm!" RSPCA Animal Welfare Officer Sian Burton said. "He must have had a shock when he fell in the curry. We have no idea if it flew in because it was hungry or if he fell in by accident!"

The bird was taken to nearby Vale Wildlife Hospital for a check-up, where workers managed to cleanse it of the orange color.

"He's uninjured and just needed a good clean, I expect he will be put off from curry after this!" Burton said.

The seagull was placed into an outdoor enclosure with other birds and is expected to be released back into the wild in the near future.

Another seagull in the Beckford area suffered the same unusual fate after falling into a vat of curry in May as rehab workers speculated it was attempting to grab some curry for itself.
