'He's on fire!' Canadian man heats up with basketball trick shot

ORANGEVILLE, Ontario, June 14 (UPI) -- An Ontario man brought a classic video game moment to life by making a basketball trick shot with a ball that was literally on fire.

The video, uploaded to YouTube by Kyle Bauman, shows a basketball being engulfed with flames after being covered in a generous helping of gasoline.

A man wearing safety gloves picks up the flaming ball and takes a shot, making it into a nearby net.

The moment evokes memories of the 1993 game NBA Jam, which featured the ball bursting into flames and an announcer exclaiming "he's on fire!" when a player has made three shots in a row.
