NANYUKI, Kenya, June 3 (UPI) -- A wildlife conservancy in Kenya shared video of a 3-year-old girl being accompanied on her walk by a baby rhinoceros named Ringo.

The clip, posted to YouTube by the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, shows the 3-year-old girl walking down a dirt road at the conservancy while Ringo falls into step beside her.

"Mom, I just teached him how to walk next to me," the excited toddler says.

The mother remarks how Ringo walks alongside the girl like a "pet."

"On Ol Pejeta, children get an incredible chance to meet Ringo the rhino. They get up close and personal with him and learn about wildlife and conservation. This is the future. Only if we teach our children to respect and appreciate animals will we be able to turn the tide of extinction. So bring your child to Ol Pejeta and teach them to be kind," the video's description reads.
