Quebec man uses drone to herd sheep from field to barn

MONTREAL, May 10 (UPI) -- Watch out sheepdogs, the machines are coming for your jobs!

A Quebec drone enthusiast put his hobby to practical use with "an Internet first" -- using the flying device to herd sheep into a barn.

David Freiheit posted a video to YouTube showing how he used his camera drone to herd sheep at his friends' farm from the edge of a field to a barn.

Freiheit branded his accomplishment "an Internet first."

"My friends have a small farm in southern Quebec," he wrote online. "They gave me permission to check one off my drone bucket list, and to herd their sheep back into the barn using the drone."

Freiheit's previous attempt at putting his drone hobby to practical use by making tea for his wife ended in disaster with a spilled glass and a crashed drone.
