Gentle lion plays with Romanian owner in swimming pool

HUNEDOARA, Romania, April 11 (UPI) -- A Romanian pet owner shared video of himself enjoying some swimming pool time with an unusual companion -- a lion.

The man, who keeps two lions as pets at his home in Hunedoara, posted a video showing one of the big cats playing with him in the pool.

The lion hugs his owner and even allows the man to give him a kiss on the mouth.

The man, who also owns a young female lion, chronicles his life with the unusual pets on Instagram.
