Texas news team interrupted by lawn-mowing dog

MALAKOFF, Texas, March 11 (UPI) -- A Texas news team preparing to deliver a report on storm damage in their area captured video of a dog sitting like a human in the seat of a riding lawnmower.

KYTX-TV said reporter Andrea Martinez and photojournalist Jason Garrett were preparing to deliver a report on storm damage Tuesday in Malakoff when they spotted something odd in the distance.

The pair zoomed their video camera in on a nearby resident's yard and captured footage of a dog sitting calmly in the seat of the lawnmower with one paw on the steering wheel.

"Happy to report that the dog was not harmed and at his residence!" KYTX-TV meteorologist Alberto Romero commented on Facebook.
