Golden retriever plays 'foster father' to tiny kitten

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A Florida pet owner shared video of a golden retriever acting as a "foster father" to a tiny kitten by bathing her with his tongue.

The video, posted to YouTube by user Paul79UF, shows the 3-year-old English cream golden retriever cuddling with the 3-week-old foster kitten and cleaning her face with his tongue.

The uploader said the canine has become a "foster father" to three tiny kittens brought in by the family and watches over them closely.

"This is our very sweet 3 year old English Cream golden retriever dog and his little 3 week old foster kitten named 'Taylor.' She is snuggling, cuddling and rubbing up against him while he licks her face clean of the wet food she just ate," the uploader wrote.
