NEW YORK, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A New York man tried to pit technology against nature when he noticed a cockroach on his wall and decided to try to kill it with his quadcopter drone.

The video, posted to YouTube by user rtrain67, shows a quadcopter take off from the kitchen floor of a Brooklyn home Friday morning and approach a cockroach on the wall.

"This is how we kill roaches: We use drone technology," a man's voice says in the video.

The drone repeatedly bounces off the wall before making contact with the roach, which falls to the ground and scurries for cover.

"We saw a roach on the wall and decided to use a quadcopter to get rid of it. Apparently the roach was not scared but I did eventually hit it. He ran off under the fridge so I will be practicing my quadcopter piloting skills for our next encounter!" the uploader wrote.
