BEIJING, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- A tourist visiting the Great Wall of China took a speed run down the attraction's alpine slide and crashed when he reached the end of the track.

Jeffrey Donenfeld, a U.S. tourist who posted his video to YouTube, boarded the alpine slide at the Great Wall of China after ensuring there were no other riders on the track and decided to aim for speed.

Donenfeld picks up speed as the ride progresses and ignores workers who appear to be signaling him to slow down with orange flags.

The tourist ends up crashing at the end of the course when he reached the chairlift terminal at a high rate of speed. He appears to be uninjured and laughs into the camera as the video ends.
