The cow fled from a slaughterhouse in Coruña, running into traffic and colliding with several cars before suffering a fatal fall from an overpass.

Police pursued the cow and reports say about ten vehicles were damaged, according to Citizen Security coordinator, Carlos Gacía Touriñán.

The mayor of Coruña, Xulio Ferrerio, witnessed the incident while on his way to an event and encouraged anyone who's vehicle was damaged by the cow to contact local police.

La Voz De Glacia points out that this is not the first case of an escaped cow in Coruña. A much larger cow ran into the streets in 2008, injuring four people.
