Curious tiger shark declines to eat divers in Florida

JUPITER, Fla., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- A group of divers in Florida captured footage of a patient tiger shark that apparently would rather pose for pictures than feed on humans.

The video, posted to YouTube by Panga MX, features numerous divers watching and taking pictures of the tiger shark as it swims around the group off the coast of Jupiter, Fla.

The shark, which is being fed by a shark handler from Emerald Charters, even allows some of the divers to reach out and stroke its side.

Tiger sharks are considered one of the three most dangerous species of shark and have been blamed for dozens of "unprovoked" attacks on humans.
