Dogs chase laser pointer up and down Russian street

KOLOMNA, Russia, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- A Russian man who spotted a pack of dogs roaming the street outside his apartment captured video of the canines chasing after the light of his laser pointer.

Dmitry Tyurin, the Kolomna resident who uploaded the video to YouTube, shined his laser pointer down at the street under his window at night and moved it back and forth to catch the dogs' attention.

At least eight dogs can be seen chasing the light through the street.

Tyurin scored the chase with a composition by Soviet musician Vadim Mulerman, "Korol Pobeditel." It is not the first time Mulerman's music has inspired interesting videos about canine chases:
