BEIJING, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- KFC in China is hoping to improve a recent sales slump with its new, eye-catching pink and black sandwiches.

The fast-food restaurant chain just introduced the "Rose Cheese Chicken Leg Burger," featuring a cotton candy-pink bun, and the "Black Diamond Bacon Spicy Chicken Leg Burger," with a -- you guessed it -- black bun.

KABC-TV in Los Angeles said KFC China is likely hoping to improve business with the promotion -- sales have fallen 10 percent in the last quarter.

Chinese news website The Nanfang said this isn't the first time KFC China has gone beyond the typical North American menu to cater to its clientele's unique palates. In the past, the restaurant has served rice congee and tortilla wraps, for example.
