VISALIA, Calif., June 11 (UPI) -- A California man melted lead in a camp stove so he could pour Coca-Cola into the molten metal and film the "mind-bending" results.

Jeff Heeszel of the Taofledermaus YouTube channel said he expected "the Coke would boil off, and the syrup left behind would auto-ignite" when he poured the cola into the frying pan of molten lead, but he instead received a "big surprise."

"What happens when you pour Coca Cola into a pan of molten lead? Obviously, ART occurs!" Heeszel wrote in the video's description.

Heeszel compared the end result to the famous painting "Starry Night" by Vincent van Gogh.
