Texas girl walks after 11 days paralyzed, nurse breaks down

DENTON, Texas, April 23 (UPI) -- A Texas mom shared video of a nurse's shocked reaction when her daughter stands up after being paralyzed from the waist down for 11 days.

Becky Miller of Denton shared a video on YouTube depicting her daughter, Bailey, revealing her rediscovered ability to walk to a nurse she had grown close to during her two weeks in the hospital.

"Our daughter, Bailey, had complete paralysis from the waist down for 11 days with no explanation as to why. This video is one of her favorite nurses coming onto her shift and not knowing that Bailey had started walking this day," Miller wrote in the video's description.

The nurse's emotional reaction was recorded in the video.

"Thank you, lord," the nurse says through tears of joy.

Miller said the cause of Bailey's 11-day paralysis remains unknown and she had no feeling in her legs until the day she started walking last week.
