The police department said the operation, which included Boise police officers, firefighters, Idaho Humane Society rescuers and concerned citizens, resulted in the successful rescue of 11 ducklings from a city storm drain Monday. Advertisement Pictures shared by police on Facebook show the concerned mother duck watching while the human rescuers removed the drain cover and extracted her babies.
