WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- A man in Washington, D.C. is hoping that a Grammy-award-winning musician will be willing to meet him way more than halfway and perform a concert in his living room.

Erick Sanchez wants to turn his living room into a "Danger Zone" by getting Kenny Loggins to perform an acoustic set.

In order to secure Loggins and the rest of the Blue Sky Riders, the 28-year-old is trying to crowdfund the show via Kickstarter.

"If you're looking to make a dream come true, put your money where your ears are and drop some cash," Sanchez wrote on the Kickstarter page. "Don't do it for me. Don't do it for Kenny, Georgia, and Gary. Do it for America."

He's hoping to raise $30,000 and already has more than $6,700 in donations.

"I've been a huge Kenny Loggins fan for a long time now," Sanchez told USA Today.

Sanchez and Loggins have already had a "Heart to Heart" about the show via Skype.

If the acoustic performance does go down, only 50 people will be allowed to attend.
