FYFFE, Ala., July 7 (UPI) -- Forget the get-away car. How about a get-away horse?

Police believe she rode the horse to a store in Hammonds Crossroads. After responding to a call about stolen merchandise, they saw the horse tied up outside with a bag of Keystone Light cans hanging from the saddle.

Saunders faces charges of public intoxication and illegal possession of a prohibited beverage, though the horse's owner declined to press charges.
