George, a 2-year-old orange tabby cat, was unhappy with the new digs of the Campion family, so he ran away. All of the Campion's other cats opted to stay put.
The family spent days searching for George but there was no sign of him.
He finally turned up more than 12 miles away near their old St. Johns home.
"It made me feel pretty happy," Celeste Martin, the family's former neighbor, told KATU. "St. Johns has a lot of pride. So of course he came back here. It's where he should live anyway."
