HOLLYWOOD, May 2 (UPI) -- During a press conference for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Samuel L. Jackson angered some of his thespian colleagues when he answered a question about what pop culture innovation he’d recommend to the character of Steve Rogers.

“RedTube,” the free porn sharing site, was his answer. “'It's one of the best pop culture achievements of the last 50 years.”

Now members of the adult film industry are calling for a boycott of the 65-year-old actor, telling TMZ that, "Superheroes don't steal porn."

The actors claim that RedTube illegally steals their work, similar to the way that mainstream movies are pirated for profit.

Porn actress Tanya Tate is hopeful that Jackson will take back his comment.

"I would gladly send a catalog of adult movies I have directed to Mr. Jackson if he would be so kind as to recant the comment,” Tate said. "I have a stack of porn for him to help him see the error of his ways."
