If Putin is ever in Buffalo, he's just going to have to eat chicken wings.

BUFFALO, N.Y., April 4 (UPI) -- An upstate New York restaurant chain has a message for Russian President Vladimir Putin: No tacos for you!

Mighty Taco, a Buffalo-based restaurant chain with locations in western New York, announced that Putin is banned from dining on the company’s Mexican food after annexing Ukraine's Crimea region.

“You may be ordering around the Crimea, but you won’t be ordering a Super Mighty Taco around here anytime soon,” reads a Mighty Taco press release. “No one likes a bully, so stop picking on people and maybe you will be welcomed back to Mighty Taco.”

According to James Gillan of Paragon Advertising, the ban on Putin is not an April Fools’ Day prank because the ban was actually put in place on March 31.

“Oh, yeah. That’s what we wanted to do, because we didn’t want people to think we weren’t serious,” Gillan told the Buffalo News. “We felt somebody had to do something. You know, nobody was doing anything, and this is actually more than our government has done.”
