Doughnut store in Massachusetts won't be selling doughnuts

QUINCY , Mass., March 3 (UPI) -- It’s time to not make the doughnuts…

A Honey Dew Donuts franchise will be leasing first-floor counter space from the new $30 million YMCA in Quincy, Mass., but the shop won’t be selling any doughnuts.

The establishment, which will be the only Honey Dew store in Quincy, won’t be serving up the tasty treats because of the Y’s emphasis on physical fitness.

“It’s definitely tailored to the healthy lifestyle the Y supports,” South Shore YMCA spokeswoman Sara Trubiano told the Patriot Ledger.

All menu items at the store must be approved by the Y and the store will reportedly sell things like low-fat muffins, salads, sandwiches, yogurt and, of course, coffee.
