Crest, owned by Ohio firm Procter & Gamble, announced its "Be" line of toothpaste will hit U.S. stores in February with flavors Mint Chocolate Trek, Vanilla Mint Spark and Lime Spearmint Zest, ABC's "Good Morning America" reported Tuesday. Advertisement "It opens with a rich, creamy cocoa flavor that provides an indulgent and decadent experience," a Crest release said of the chocolate toothpaste. "Got an adventurous spirit or a sweet tooth?" the release said. "Well, then this is the toothpaste for you. Now consumers can explore outside their boundaries, arouse their senses and energize their brushing routine like never before." John Scarchilli, head of scientific communications for Proctor & Gamble, said the toothpaste was inspired by customer feedback indicating people found typical toothpaste flavors boring. "You don't expect to find chocolate toothpaste in the aisle. It's something beyond the everyday sea of mint," Scarchilli said.
