Pug dressed as Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' goes viral

MADISON, Wis., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- A Wisconsin woman's pug has become an online celebrity with a Halloween costume modeled after the wrecking ball set piece from a Miley Cyrus music video.

McKenna Ihde of Madison dressed her pug, Tottie, in a costume involving a wrecking ball suit and a Barbie representing a nude Cyrus riding atop the ball in a parody of the singer's "Wrecking Ball" music video for Petco's online costume contest, WISC-TV, Madison, reported Thursday.

The pictures quickly spread through the Internet, making Tottie an online star, and were shown on national morning news shows.

Tottie is competing for a $25,000 prize in the Petco contest, to be decided by votes on the store's Facebook page.
